Wild Queen Anne's lace and daisies grow on the trails behind my house—also, black-eyed Susans.

Have you discovered new and exciting things depending on the time of day too? Not to add to your already overflowing basket Louise but it occurred to me that some insects (fireflies, moths, etc) are nocturnal! We have like one lightning bug here in Portland Maine LOL but maybe your special acre+ has a TON! Loved this post as always, your insights and language are magical.

There is a huge difference just between morning and afternoon! I have some moth finding adventures planned soon :) I’ve only seen one fire fly but I’m hoping for more. Thanks so much for your cheer!

I love the little bee feet! Reminds me of Pooh with a honey jar stuck on his head. Hmm! Always grateful for your insights.

What a lovely post, Louise! Your meadow is such a lush and wonderful place to explore! Out here in Oregon, one of my favorite wildflowers is Columbia Lily. It’s just starting to bloom in the Coast Range now.
